Busy Grady reposted

Grady has been very busy the past couple days. He's learning mobility. EEK! He isn't crawling, just squirming, but he now rolls back to front and back again, turns in circles on the floor, does big push ups and just last night he was trying to crawl but was going backwards. He met Rowan Monday evening, and it was really cute because every time Rowan cried Grady would chatter back. HILARIOUS! We have also found him on his tummy a couple of times in his crib, and the other day he decided that he was going to nap on his side. He is also a fan of laying in his crib and pounding his feet into the mattress, and one day he was holding his soother and dragging it across the bars of his crib (like you'd see in jailhouse movies where they run their cups along the bars)

Over the weekend Greg wakes me up in the middle of the night and the first thought that does through my mind is why are you waking me up! Then he says "Listen!" there was music playing in Grady's room.
He received this sleepy time Pooh bear, and when you press his tummy his face lights up and he plays a bedtime tune. Well Grady had rolled over onto his stomach and bumped Pooh. After the realization of what was going on it was quite funny and really adorable, and then I got up to go save him. Greg had thought that I had gotten up and had pressed Pooh until he realised I was still in bed, hence waking me. All good times.

Today Grady moved on to oat cereal, he really isn't a fan of the chicken and I don't blame him the texture is quite grainy. Chicken might be better as a finger food once there is some teeth. We'll see how he likes pureed chickpeas in a couple days.

NEW: I watched Grady "hump" the couch as he got him knees under him.
